Not quite the kind of forum we had in mind

At Galus Australis, we like to encourage community involvement. While others just talk grass roots community action, at Galus, we walk it! (Note to our advertising agency: this is really lame copy).

This is an open invitation to all* Australian Jewish community groups including shuls, minyanim, schools, youth movements, and special interest groups. This is an opportunity for your group to hold a forum at Galus Australis on a topic that is relevant to your members.

This would involve you (or someone from your group) writing a short article, introducing your group and the topic for discussion.  Also, please supply us with your logo/emblem if you would like it to be displayed with the article. We would publish your article on our site and could help you to introduce a link to the forum from your website, or we could arrange for a page on your website to redirect to the forum.

Your members and other readers would then be able to comment on and debate this topic, and thus help bring it to the fore.

What’s in it for your organisation: You would increase the profile of your organisation, and more importantly, increase the profile of the issue that is relevant to your members.

What’s in it for us: It’s all part of our plan for world domination.

So there you have it. Email us (editorial at galusaustralis.com) to take advantage of this “limited time only” offer.

*When we say “all”, we don’t literally mean all. For example, if you’re part of the local chapter of “Jews against Circumcision,” we’d have to at least put it to the editorial committee.  Likewise, “Jews for Al Qaeda” would have to make a really good case.
